Preface
Internet of things is an unified division of imminent internet consisting combination of a rapid development of network. IoT is the heart of information technology. It has the connectivity between ‘Internet’ and ‘Things’. IoT brings new era to the information technology. This study covered the application of IoT in Smart City. And also, address the main development in civil engineering. It depicts the difference between the internet of things and web of things. In this research, we examine the application of IoT in Smart City. It lay path to the new developed generation of civil engineering. Advantages of IoT also discussed in this research. The main concentration on the basic notion of internet of Things and reviews and application of IoT in the civil engineering construction projects.The research paper is about the use of sensors and smart devices and to utilize data collected by the embedded sensors and actuators for automation. In the Internet of things Thing could be a machine. In the architecture of an IoT system can be portrayed as a process that data flows from sensors to thingsthrough a network to the cloud for processing, analysis, and storage.
